Unfair treatment and pay to drivers

It’s with a heavy heart deciding to delete Takealot, Uber and Superbalist app today after long relationships I’ve heard that was closer even during COVID days under lock down.

This decision is based on how unfair I think a believe the Group Nespers haven’t been fair in the business model how drivers who deliver the parcels we buy for being way under paid.

I have a close family member who decided after serving the business for years it’s not longer worth it and decided to stop completely not that it was no longer making cash from how much he was pocketing the costs he has incurred in wear and tear on the car is completely unjustifiable in the name of let me Wake and hustle than staying at home.

Truth is we pay quiet a premium prices for things we buy and for drivers still to be paid through an agent who also deducts their commission from already way below under rated rate looking at how expensive the fuel price has been leaves a bitter taste to me as if it’s coming accross as if our brothers and sisters who are drivers are being exploited under such already tough economic conditions everyone is feeling.

I’m pleading that matter being looked at as drivers are not even getting much tips from customers as well.
