unfair business practice

<p>I recently purchased a Mobicel Frio 16GB 3G Dual Sim Smartphone - Space Grey from takealot. I received a Mobicel Frio 8GB and inform takealot that this is not correct. They came back with this response "</p> <p>The device is 1G RAM + 16 G ROM confirmed</p> <p> </p> <p>The device does have 1G RAM + 16 G ROM internal memory which also caters for the Operating system and apps. Therefore it is clear that this is why there is only 8GB available for the customer to use as storage space."</p> <p> </p> <p>Mobicel dealers (011) ********** manufacturar) confirmed that this device only comes out with 8GB ROM. The advert is therefore misleading.</p> <p>The issue I have with Takealot, is that they have been advertising this product for quite some time and eventhough the advert/information is incorrect, still haven't changed it. I have not had one call to acknowledge or apologise for the inconvenience or frustration this debacle has caused me.</p> <p> </p> <p>All email correspondence just refers to we apologise and will refund you the money or credit your account. This is not the issue, you advertising a product, so give me what you have advertised and fix your advert so that you don't mislead others.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you</p> <p>Frank<br /> </p>
