Unexpected Poor Service

I never thought I'd have to write a review on Hellopeter, but with the poor service that I've received, I am left with few options.

I recently bought a monitor on promotion for my wife, but Takealot’s system overcharged me. After several emails with customer service, I was told the only solution was to return the item for a refund, which made no sense, as it was already mounted in my wife’s studio and the fault was on their side. I requested a simple credit for the overcharge after the first exchange of emails, but then I was told that I had purchased it outside the promotion period, which is untrue.

The agent completely changed their stance from refund to blaming me. It’s a pity, because the screen itself is great - but the experience has been a major inconvenience, and Takealot’s refusal to resolve a clear error leaves me no choice but to give them a 1 star.
