Unexpected bad service

On 1 December 2017 I ordered three items from Takealot.com, a company I have supported a few times in the last few years. High was my hope to get great service as I previously did and even encouraged my children to buy items from them. This order was one of those that I encouraged them to make. Delivery was promised to be made on 8 December 2017 before 17:00. The order was not delivered then, but on the Monday 11 December 2017. To my surprise only one of the three items was in the box. After struggling to get a customer care number I phoned the next day only to be promised that the order will be sorted out. After a few days nothing, no reply from the consultant or delivery of the missing items. On the 15th of December 2017 i received this reply "Just to keep you updated, I am still awaiting feedback from the couriers." On the 17th, after I asked for feedback I received this reply "Please be advised that I will escalate this to our fulfillment and get back to you with a response." On the 19th at 14:06 I phoned again, the consultant assured me that she will sort this out and phone me back. It is now 21:30, 18 days after the items was ordered and still no answer or delivery. I am not a happy customer as promised by this company. I will never again order any items from this company and will advise against using them for any purchases.
