********* practices

I ordered and paid for a 49" LG UHD TV, they delivered a 49" LG FHD TV. which cost a little less than what ordered. After I queried about my order, I was told the UHD TV model I ordered was not in stock and I will be refunded, which is fine. My issue is that this information was not available by the time I was placing the order, why would they advertise for a product that they do not have in stock? Also should the customer be inconvenienced due to poor stock taking? On top of this, I wasn't compensated for the incovenience caused. This means I was given a wrong product on purpose, hopping I wouldn't found out, I don't think that they only realised my product was not in stock when they went to look for the exchange. This to me is *********. They should have at least told me the item was out of stock before they delivered the wrong one, I wouldn't have had any issue with that.
