I ordered 3 items from Takealot for the same day delivery, this was done 8am. Payment was done and approved & I was able to track my order, I was advised order will be delivered between 8am - 7pm. The delivery arrived at the given address at 17:20 and I was not called by the driver to advise that they have arrived. A colleague of mine had to call and tell me they are looking for me, when I went downstairs to sign off for my parcel the driver was already on his way out and had given my parcel to someone. I yelled at him and stopped him to find out where's my parcel & he said he gave it to Joy. I asked who's that and how do you know that person is actually who they are telling you they are. The guy said sorry & drove away. This service is unacceptable as there's no accountability because parcels being ordered are at a risk of being accepted by anyone & there's no proof of the actual person who took those items.
