UNBELIEVABLE POOR SERVICE

I would just like to complain about the terrible service I keep getting from Takealot. Their delivery team is useless. In December I order a item. It was a Christmas gift. It was scheduled for delivery on the 23rd December. I cancel all my arrangements to be at home for the delivery. At the end of the day, the parcel didn’t arrive. I checked my app only to find out that the person had been and gone. The delivery was rescheduled for the next day, due to the “recipient not being available” I was at home the entire day but had things to do. So whilst I was in the garden the driver arrived and left. He was here for 1min exactly. No phone call to say “ hi the delivery guy is outside” or anything. So then they expect me to sit at home the following day again and wait. I then cancelled the order as I wasn’t prepared to waste another day waiting and the gifts wouldn’t get here in time for Christmas. I then had to go brave the shopping malls to go get gifts. After I had cancelled they kept sending a driver to come collect a item which I have not received. Everyday the guy comes I’m not available and they keep rescheduling the collection. I don’t know how they can afford to constantly keep sending drivers out. Then I ordered another item from them last week. Once again I called the delivery section of takealot and told them. I won’t be available until 2 pm and that they are please to contact me when they are on the way. The driver then delivers at 1:30pm. They call me to say his outside. Once again both requests were not followed. I then request that they deliver the next day at 4pm. Once again the driver arrives at 2:54pm. Once again requests not followed. I then call and ask they rather change the delivery address. That can’t be done. How a huge company like takealot still has such primitive procedures I don’t know. Other delivery companies have shorter time frames for delivery like 8-12pm. Also you can request a time frame. Also the drivers call you when they are outside. I have once again cancelled my order.
