Unanimous Takelot Couriers
Why are on-line business platforms these days so scared of human contact. No email address. No land-line or cell number. Nothing. Nada.
I put in a order with Takealot on 15/9/21. Within a short space of time, I was notified that the delivery would take place on Monday 20 September. The next day I was notified that the delivery date had been moved forward to Friday 17 September.
I did not mind this, since I thought that there should be someone home to receive the parcel. It turned out ghat no-one was home, and Saturday morning, I was informed that the delivery would take place that same day. I was out shopping, so never gave it another thought. Since I do not answer calls on weekends from unknown numbers or people called Malume something something, I ignored it.
Normally my cellphone is switched off on a Sunday. Apparently, I discovered Monday morning, I was again sent an SMS, saying that the delivery will now take place on Sunday 19 September. On Monday morning I found that the same Mulume what what was looking for me again.
It then dawned on me, that this was possibly the courier who entered his own details into True Caller and not Takelot Delivery Person, which would make so much sense, wouldn't it.
Takealot has since cancelled my order because I'm not home when they want me to be. They also tried and contact me from a number with the name of a person that I don't know. On a Sunday.
I got a refund. Immediately put in the same order and am cautiously optimistic that either Malume and I will this time find each other, or that another person will do the delivery that has appropriate contact details entered into True Caller.
It seems as if Takelot is sh*t scared of talking to any of their clients. Couldn't find an email address on the homepage, neither could I find a number to call. Possibly the reason for this is that they would have to deal with clients like myself on a Monday morning. ***ards.
