Unacceptable customer service

I ordered a microwave on takealot on 29 May 2023 as I am in desperate need of a microwave, especially due it being winter. The delivery was scheduled for 06 June 2023 and something different arrived on this day - a DSTV TV cable instead. Bare in mind I ordered a 20l Russell Hobbs silver microwave and to my surprise the delivery guy comes with a very small box and out of curiosity I open the box only to find a dstv cable of some sort in the box with a sticker on it "20l silver Russell Hobbs microwave. My first instinct, who in their competent right mind that can read and can see will put a sticker on a item that is clearly not the item. I resort to telling the delivery guy that this is the incorrect order and I am not taking the order as it is not what I had ordered .The driver then told me he will cancel it on his end. I got an update that the item was failed to be delivered because customer refused the delivery. Nowhere it stated why I had refused and that It was in fact the wrong item. No one in their right mind is going to refuse delivery of a correct item they had ordered. Everyday since I was e-mailed that my item will in fact be delivered. Three days in a row I took leave to wait for the item. Till today no item has arrived. The takealot team has given me an insincere weak apology and have fed me lies over the past few days as I am still without my microwave. I am disappointed and disgusted in their work ethic and poor customer service and delivery.

The order has now been cancelled on their end. I am really disappointed in the way this whole situation was handled and the unprofessionalism.
