UNACCEPTABLE CONDOCT BY TAKEALOT

Today, 6 October, 2024, I attempted to buy something from Takealot's online store, a vendor from which I have purchased a large number of items over many years without any problem for it or me. However, today I was met with a hostile notification reading "Sorry, you have been blocked. You are unable to access takealot.com", and as threatened I was declined access to the site. I was unable to find any explanation on the site for this extraordinary occurrence, nor was I able to find any means of communicating with Takealot. I shall of course in future use whatever other online vendors can fill the place of Takealot, but if this conduct of Takealot.com causes me directly or indirectly any actual or potential harm I shall not hesitate to take appropriate legal steps. The purpose of publishing this review is to alert actual or potential customers of Takealot.com to their exposure of the risk of sudden, unexplained refusal to continue their commercial dealings with Takealot.
