Ordered new Apple Airpods Pro Type C, with vouchers specifically bought for this purpose. The product that arrived was not legitimate. When checking the warranty on Apple’s site, it expires 28/01/24 (within 2 months) and incorrect model received in the box - A2698 (2022) model. I took them to an iStore that confirmed they were not new and bought more than a year ago. Takealot then refused to refund the vouchers, that were bought specifically for this purpose, mentioning that this product is now out of stock and won’t be reordered by them but I’ll have to find something else to spend this money on in their store. A slightly less aware consumer would have been conned into keeping this product.
