two weeks to deliver a parcel

Sigh<br> <br> I love [URL Removed] , but a order placed on the 27th of Jan and delivery only now on the 10th of Feb??? where is the online convenience ? I understand from phoning takealot that they had no stock, but it was not stated on the website on the day of purchase , and it still does not say out of stock on the website today.<br> <br> So why the long delivery time, I could have gone to the crowded mall, bought all the stuff I wanted in less then 2 hours, but I have always had such amazing experience with takealot , the excitement when the little three wheel truck stops at your gate.<br> <br> But dam two weeks is rather long, so is this how the South African online shopping starts to die? I have order books from Amazon and for $15 shipping, my books where delivered with in 4 days...<br> <br> How is it possible for books from America to be delivered to me in RSA within 4 days, but a local online store takes two weeks?<br> <br> I'm hurting writing this, but this is just sad, and for such a well know brand, I excepted more.
