Totally disgusted by lies and disorganisation

<p>my brother ordered a ps4 from takealot on the Tuesday 20th and we kept track of the parcel as were hoping it would get here before xmas. I have dealt with Takealot before and was super happy with the service cause i used to sometimes get the parcel before expected if they were able to. This was an xmas present for my son so i was holding my thumbs. On friday 23rd i checked and it was in East london so i thought they would deliver it asap. On Sat we phoned mr delivery courier to see whether it would be delivered and they said only on the 28th - which i dont understand why did it have to wait for the 28th if it had reached East London early why would it not be delivered?? So they got hold of the person and we even offered to pick it up. Not allowed and we understood having waiting and being cut off 3 or 4 times we finally got a response saying it would be delivered by 3pm which did not happen. We changed our plans to wait at home. They had all told us it was scheduled for the 28th. So today is the 28th and i got someone to stay and wait at the house all day as we were at work. Nothing. At 16:10 we start phoning the courier again and of course we get the unfortunately only tomorrow - WHY? So my mom told them the whole story and said it was unacceptable. We get cut off again. Phone back we get another agent who says that not one of the other agents instituted delivery instructions which means we had constantly been **** to and i am disgusted, upset and will make sure that everyone i know how this works. We are not allowed the courier telephone number because it is confidential no other info for the courier - which i know is majority owned by takealot. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have never been so utterly disgusted by the service i have received that i have had to bad mouth a company on hellopeter - well done guys this is the worst service i have ever received in my life. i am going to make sure that all of my friends and family know what has happened and the service i received.</p>
