I placed an order for a few items on the 28th of May 2020, for which the estimated delivery was the 11th June 2020. This morning I just had a look in the app to see if all is still well to find that my order has been pushed to estimated delivery for 25th June 2020. Which is rediculous and now I can't remove items from the order because I need the nappies for the original date. They just decide to push your order back with no notification or option to remove those items that make no sense to wait for. Really bad service from a local online store. No better than wish when it comes to waiting period. And atleast you can cancel their stuff when it takes too long. So yes, rather stay away from takealot, they will take a lot of your money and a lot of your time waiting
