They cancelled my order but funds were debited from my account

I ordered some items online and payment was made from my account. Takealot is claiming funds were not received so order was cancelled!! I used their platforms available so how is that possible and my account was never credited. When I followed up with takealot I’m being told they did not receive the funds and I must take it up with my bank !!!! Why can they not take it up with their bank based on the proof I gave them? Horrible experience and I intend to close my account. 😡😡😡😡😡
