Their mistake - your problem

I have never had any problem with TAKEalot. However, bought some items and one was damaged, clearly due to bad handling on their part. I make use of the 30-day exchange/return policy. This is where the problem comes in. Firstly, the collection was scheduled for a certain time which they completely ignored, so they're basically wasting money on messaging a certain time and asking if it suits the customer. Luckily someone was there to give the product back. A few days go by and the product is assessed. However, I am not notified of the outcome and an exchange is automatically done for me (an order placed without my knowledge). Not even a notification of any kind. I receive a phone call from the delivery person that he is at the address. At the same time, I was waiting for the collection of another item of which I logged a return of a few days before this delivery (which I did not know of) and drop everything to go to the collection point. There is no one there. I hear from another individual that they had seen a TAKEalot personal early that morning (again the time for collection which was from 1 PM to 5 PM) was ignored. I was never contacted of the collection (earlier than what was arranged) and the delivery of the other item for exchange was in another city altogether. To top it all of I have not be contacted again unless I personally send a query to TAKEalot and the spelling errors in their emails just add to the unprofessionalism. It seems their mistake has become my problem.
