The takealot circus

My wife and I bought an airfryer on takealot. When we used it for the first time, the coating in the machine chipped off after making hot chips.

Well within the same week of purchase we logged a return and returned the item. We were told that the return was declined. No clear report as to why the return was declined with no reason at all. We have queried what the reason is as to why they have declined it, with no clear answer received.

We have been at paper war(emails) with their customer care department however, everyday you get responded to by a different agent with patronizing attitudes. No one can help you on the phone line, you will just keep getting referred elsewhere.

Takealot does not care about us the consumers, we constantly get given the run-around with no conclusion to our grievances and queries.

Truly pathetic customer service. I will not recommend using this company. Takealot has lost 2 regular customers.
