The place where the customer is never right!!!!!!

Takealot is the pits!!! They will sell you sub-quality products at exorbitant prices. I bought a paraffin heater in November which I did not until May because it summer. When I used it for the first time, the paraffin leaked onto the bottom tray, meaning that the heater had a defect. Takealot refused to take any responsibility by neither refunding nor exchanging and R1200 had gone down the drain. Secondly, I bought a trellis gate and realised after 35 days of receipt that it was the incorrect size. I logged for a return and they sent the gate back refusing to refund or exchange for the correct size. This time it was a R5000 mistake.

I never want to have anything to do with this place and will delete my account.If one is going to use their services, I would advise that they pay proper attention to their policies that plays against the customer.
