The ongoing Saga of MRRN-P56YK-OEZ7

I am using Hellopeter again because it is impossible to communicate with someone at Takealot.com, other than through the mediocre call-centre that just escalates queries.

It is now 1 month since I logged the return. According to Takealot.com the return is concluded and that the return was declined after product evaluation.

Firstly. Just because the screen powers on does not mean it is okay. I would not have returned the monitor on a whim. The screen IS DEFECTIVE, it has a terrible pink hue and also there is a shadow in the top right corner. Who tested the monitor? And what were the criteria on which the decision was made? Because anyone who powered on the screen would clearly see what the problem is.

Secondly. Where is my computer and the other components? Takealot.com insisted on me returning all the components before evaluation could take place, this was a nightmare in itself. Now they have concluded the return but I have nothing. No replacement monitor or computer.

Although defective monitor was returned to me which I promptly returned again, because it was not the replacement I requested and because I have no feedback or proof that the monitor was even tested properly. The computer and other components have not been returned and it seems it was unnecessary, because why was only the monitor returned and not everything together

So, THIS IS NOT RETURN IS NOT CONCLUDED and I am dissatisfied with the service and the manner in which the return is been handled (see previous review for the timeline).

If Takealot.com will not replace the monitor and return all the components. I insist on my account been credited for the full amount of the order. They can then take up with the company that provided the components as to why a defective screen was delivered to start with.
