Thanks for the box of nothing for Christmas, Takealot

<p>Decided to place an order with Takealot for a Christmas present for my mom, on December 10. Delivery was meant to be completed by the 19th. No word whatsoever of a delivery arriving on that date, with Takealot being completely oblivious.</p> <p>When questioned, was promised delivery by December 22. Date has come and gone, no sign of courier even though Takealot tracking has had the package in the courier department since the order was placed. Social media team has gone out of their way to be helpful, my emails have been ignored and now I have no Christmas gift for my mom.</p> <p>When I asked for the order to b cancelled, I was told that it was too late...even though th package is still in the Jozi depot and has not moved an inch.</p> <p>Thanks Takealot, thanks for the inept handling of what was supposed to be a Christmas surprise for my mom and snotty attitude in Takealot when I asked for someone to help me. Never shopping with this site ever again.</p>
