Terrible terrible service from takealot.com

I ordered and paid for three items on 12 December 2019. Takealot.com has a feature where you can check whether you will receive your items before Christmas and it showed that my items will arrive by 20 December. On 18 December I receive an email stating that my items will only be delivered on 27 December because the one item is out of stock. HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT???? I then phone to cancel the order, only to be told that the order is being picked and packed at the warehouse so it can't be canceled. Now I want to know what are the picking and packing if there is nothing to pick or pack??? I am now minus R600 and minus 3 items for Christmas. I will have to go buy the items in the shop and then hope and pray to have my money back by end of 2020. Absolutely ridiculously poor service and the consultant on the phone has no clue how to talk to a customer. She was telling me about potty training her child?? I am shellshocked and will never ever for as long as I live order anything from Takealot again
