Terrible service from Takealot

I am utterly disappointed with the abysmal service provided by Takealot. Recently, I purchased a tumble dryer from their platform, expecting a seamless transaction and reliable product. However, the nightmare began when the item arrived with a faulty motor, rendering it unusable.

Despite my attempts to rectify the situation, the guys that were at my house to collect the dreyer told me their manager at Takealot refused to collect the defective item for a refund. Their excuse? It wasn't wrapped up for return. Excuse me? Am I expected to jump through hoops because they sold me a lemon?

This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. Not only did I receive a faulty product, but I was also met with refusal and indifference when seeking resolution. It's clear that Takealot prioritizes profit over customer care.

Consider this a cautionary tale: steer clear of Takealot if you value your time, money, and sanity. They have certainly lost a loyal customer in me. One star is too generous for such incompetence.
