Terrible service as usual

At 9AM today I got a SMS saying the office chair I ordered so I can work more comfortably from home would be delivered by 5PM. I was sat in the lounge facing the street with a clear view of any vehicles approaching the house from 7AM until 7PM. At 7:56PM I got a SMS saying they couldn't deliver. The website claims they tried to deliver at 1PM but I wasn't available so they need to reschedule. This is a blatant lie as I was even in the driveway from 12:30 until 1:15PM. Not like I needed the office chair so I can actually work properly during this 21 day lock down. Should have known better than to believe they'd actually deliver on time and not drop the ball yet again. Of course they provide you no way to contact them and find out any information about your order that doesn't involve waiting a couple days for a response. Absolutely terrible service and the last time I make use of the platform. Takealot has really gone from my favourite online retailer to the people I order from in desperation when I have absolutely no other choice and even then they still manage to disappoint on almost every occasion.
