Terrible Service

I bought a toddler bike on the 2nd/3rd July 2024 and on the 30th August 2024 the handle broke off. I am not entirely sure what material it is but I'd say it is semi metal. The only one driving the bike was my 4yo son and there is no way he could have broken the handle off, as it was welded onto the bike. I logged a return with TakeAlot and the collecting process was easy. However, all I am seeing on the app is that my return was concluded and declined and that further comms was mailed to me. But no mail was received and now there is no way of getting hold of TakeAlot. I am deeply disappointed as my son loves this bike but I am in no way purchasing another and especially not from TakeAlot. Then after writing this review on the product I suddenly receive an email. This email has minimal information as to why my return was declined. It's explanation is "Unfortunately, your return has been declined due to specific criteria not being met in line with our Returns Policy." Tell me how a 4yo is able to break a semi metal handle off from a bike???? If I had a choice, I wouldn't even give them a star!
