Terrible return policy

Very disappointed in takealot's return policy. My fiance bought a gaming chair and after 4 months of sitting on it, it broke at a welding point and is useless. It is clearly a manufacturer error, takealot seems to want nothing to do with it, they rejected our return stating that we misused the item, which is absolute nonsense. We have sent through various emails to no avail, again very disappointing
