Terrible Return Policy

I was sold a defective product, SoundPeats True Air2 to be specific. I used them twice, on the third attempt I saw that they were not connecting properly. After a closer look I saw that the left earpiece had a crack and this was within roughly a week. I scheduled a return to Takealot, I described to them exactly what happened - that I saw a crack and the earphones were not connecting properly anymore. 6 days later my product was inspected by Sabelo Mathebula and they stated that they cannot issue me a refund nor exchange my product because "the is a crack on my left earbud" which is the reason I was trying to return this. It is a pitty because this was my first attempt to return an item and I get this service.
