TERRIBLE PRODUCTS AND SERVICE TAKEALOT

On or about the 7th of December 2021, I received an order from Takealot, which include a Fine Living Capital Desk. It was purchased as a gift for office space, and assembled in January 2022, being utilized as an office desk, which is its intended purpose. On the 20th of April 2022 the table fell apart and crumbled to pieces. I contacted Takealot for a return. They collected the item and are now refusing any further action. I have sent several emails, and all I have received in response is a snippet of their returns policy, I received a defective product, made of cheap chip wood, which collapsed long before the warrant expired, the warranty only expires on the 7th of June 2022. Takealot does not want to assist and are also not indicating what will happen to the item they collected. Their agents are also extremely rude and unhelpful
