Terrible Customer Service & Feedback on purchases/cancellations

I never thought I would have this opinion about Takealot - Since it is such a big company. On 22nd March I ordered a value pack of nappies for my *** online and all was good and well until I collected the box on the 23rd March at the Bedfordview pick up point. There was only 1 pack of nappies (Keeping in mind we did this as it was the best choice financially as they offered a value back). I went back and told the Lady at the reception about this and she very rudely told me she cant help they probably split my order, I must contact Takealot.....I proceeded to ask why would they split it if its a value pack - 2 packs in one? Again I was rudely answered " see that number on the wall - phone the call center and sort it out"...

I am really not impressed. I phoned and they said they will try get the balance delivered....I will receive a sms or email with confirmation. A few days passed and nothing received, so I phone again and they said again - it will come on the 4th apparently there was a note on the system that said they will deliver the balance on the 4th of April. It is now the 5th of April, no email...no sms....nothing. So I called again just to be met with a short answering individual who said they cant help me as my husband must call his details are on the order.... The last 3 times they have tried to assist me oh no but not this time. So I interrupt him at work and ask him to call. We are now told that no our whole order was cancelled as the supplier doesn't have stock.....No means of letting your customer know or going out of your way to assist - so now that I am running our of nappies and in need of the second bag I must go to a shop and pay more for more nappies because clearly Takealot does not think that this is a need......you should provide a service and atleast assist when you cannot provide that............. Not very impressed and now I need to wait yet again for an outcome. In a world that is slowly crumbling this should not phase me but fair is fair in life and some people do not have extra money to run around and make up for your bad service.

At this point I will not speak highly of ordering things of need on Takealot because there will be disappointment to follow....
