Terrible Customer Service

This is a critical warning about product reliability and Takealot's warranty process. I purchased two dehumidifiers (necessary for my asthma) in 2024 and May 2025, both with 2 year warranties. Both units have failed completely by November 2025. This failure rate is unreliable. I immediately returned both items and requested a full refund. Takealot refused, claiming the refund decision is "not up to Takealot, it's up to the manufacturer." As the retailer, Takealot must take ownership of products sold on its platform, especially after a double, catastrophic failure within one year.
