Terrible customer service and lack of useful feedback

Very disgusted with the cancellation process that Takealot conducts. Placed my order online and cancelled it less than 24 hours later because of the terrible reviews of the item. Now it is 10 days since and I haven't even received a confirmation of my cancellation. Was eventually told the item needs to be delivered to the branch before my order can be cancelled - how does that make sense?!?! And they also can't tell me how long it's going to take. Have you ever heard of a tracking system!! This has put a very serious dent in my confidence and loyalty towards Takealot, after having been a regular customer for MANY years!
