Terrible After Sale Serive

<p>I bought a R7500 laptop from Takelot. It was faulty as about 2 months after very little use it would not switch on. I requested that it be returned under warranty, they sent a courier to collect and a week later I was advised that it was tampered with by me thus the warranty is not valid. First of all, I'm not stupid and won't tamper with something that I paid that much for that has a warranty, I also would not know how to fix the thing so why take the chance. They sent it back not fixed. After having discussions with various sales people and eventially the manager I was told that they still can't fix it as I tampered with it. I sent it to another comapny to evaluate and it is an issue that will cost the price of the laptop to fix. So basically I'm sitting with a R7500 door-stop. Do not buy high value items from takelot, they will look for and argue any excuse to not honor the warranty for a faulty item. The after-sale service is pathetic!</p>
