I've been doing purchases with takealot for years, I have never had complaints. Today we received an sms that delivery will be made before 5:00. At 12:40 my brother comes in rushing, asking my mom and I if we ordered something at Takealot.com, we told him we did. He told us that one of the neighbours told him they have a delivery with our address and name.

We confirmed to my brother that yes we ordered goods from Takealot.com. He went and picked up the package from the neighbour who is not even next door, many houses away. We got the box with no receipt /invoice.

According to my experience, drivers (especially from takealot) are supposed to call and inform us that they are on the way and that we are at the address. None of that took place. I am very angry and irritated because I am even thinking about Corona, I am doing my best with the safety measures since I am working from home due to health problems.
