Taking a lot

I ordered some Items on yesterday morning (06-09-21), on takealot.com and went for the option which says "same day delivery" because I needed the items urgently. The delivery charge was of course higher than normal deliveries due to the fact that it was a same day delivery. The delivery did not arrive yesterday but only late afternoon today (07-09-21) and the driver insisted I pay the full amount as stipulated. I explained to the driver that I won't pay for a same day delivery that came 24hrs later, I said rather they must re calculate because it will not be fair to pay an extra charge on something that didn't arrive on time, I think takealot has been taking a lot from people, so unprofessional how they handled it. even after I spoke to the call center, they insisted I pay the full amount
