TAKELOT.com a very shady and dishonest online retailer.

This is the third time I've had to return goods to Takelot for them not being as advertised or damaged upon delivery. The final straw has now been the most annoying - I bought a 7" car monitor screen which was advertised as having HDMI and VGA inputs as well as being a touch screen monitor which included a host of many accessories with which to mount the screen in question and to charge it etc etc - all for R799.

Goods arrive sooner than expected due to stock shortages so at this point I'm impressed, which lasted all of about of 20 seconds until I opened the box and saw that what was delivered was a cheap and nasty 7" monitor which looks like something I could get at China mall for half the price of what I paid.

Screen that was sent to me has zero input ports that are usable for your regular person (no HDMI, no VGA), is not touch screen or if it was it was broken and the touch doesn't work, has merely a charging cable and that's all, has no other accessories as per what was advertised and described on takealots website.

The most annoying part about this whole thing is that when I logged back into to takealot to make sure that I had indeed ordered the correct item; I now see that the price for the item I actually paid for and was expecting has been changed to a whooping R3499. Absolutely disgusting behavior from takealot and very shady antics indeed - needless to say that this will be the last time you ever see any business from me or anyone else willing to listen to my experiences with your company.
