Takelot, the Takealot Delivery team and their Customer service sucks! Don't use them they are not what they use to be!

Takealot has never been more a more disgusting business than right now. I placed an order on Sunday the 29/08/2021 to be delivered by 19:00 on Monday the 30/08/2021 using their "Guaranteed Express" service, paying R95 rand extra as this was meant to be a birthday present for someone on Tuesday 31/08/2021. At 19:00 on Monday had not yet received my package or an explanation as to why my package had not yet arrived.

I called Takealot just after 7 and was told that they would give me an update as soon as possible and will refund me my delivery payment. At 9:00 had still not received any update on my package and called again.

This time I told them that I would go fetch the package from Takealot if needed, and was told that they would call the delivery team to hear if my package is at the location.

I have not yet received my package nor any update on the situation.

This is completely unacceptable!

I won't use Takealot again.
