Takelot - return policy

I ordered a Conti 1400W Wet & Dry Shampoo Vacuum from their warehouse in Cape Town. When I went to collect it and was given the box, the order said Red but the picture was blue and I made mention of this to the person giving me the item and at security. I only looked at the cleaner to use it when I needed to wash the carpets when I discovered that there was a missing part from the hand control for the water to the shampoo head, there is a tube missing with a connection. Now my return has been declined due to A. not notifying them within 7 days and also because the order said Red and I got Blue.....
