TAKELOT REFUSAL TO DOWNLOAD MY BOOKS ON PREVIOUS TABLET TO REPLACEMENT

Over the past few years, I purchased a number of e-books from Takealot, which were downloaded on my tablet (a Samsung Galaxy Tab E). The tablet has become obsolete and malfunctioned after 5 years of use and was replaced by an Apple iPad 7. When I transferred all the applications to my new iPad, I noticed that my e-books could not be transferred from the old tablet. When I tried to download them, the procedure failed. I enquired why the books were not transferred, and after some lengthy to and fro messages to Takealot, among others, Mr. Zubair Cassim and Reagan Williams, I was eventually informed that e-books cannot be transferred to another device, since some or other copyright issues prohibited it. According to them, e-books are limited to the device they were originally downloaded on. I am not happy with the fact that my e-books cannot be transferred to my new tablet. I paid for them, and they belong to me, albeit in digital format. The email address I use has not changed and is still used by me. In my opinion, Takealot has no legal right to deny me the use of the e-books that I am the legal owner of, and I demand that they be downloaded on my new Apple i-Pad. Your help to convince Takealot to allow me access to my books will be appreciated
