Takelot fails to take responsibiliy for products.

I wish to make a complaint against Takealot. On the ***5 I bought a Krusell BodenFlip Cover for Sony Xperia E4G - Black. I had the item for less than a week and sent it back as I could see slight defects in it. I then had the item returned to Takealot & received another 1. I noticed on the replacement cover that cracks had started to form in the polycarbonate back of the cover, from regular use. I again had the item returned to Takealot to receive my 3rd type of this cover. Thinking it would be different and that the previous 2 episodes were just a bad batch. However the same thing happened & actually got worse. No drops or anything that would have caused this to happen ,just regular use of the item being in my pocket. However after finally having enough. I requested the item to be taken back to Takealot and to be credited for a product that I have found to be of shockingly poor quality. I was denied by Takealot who stated that the damage was not caused by the manufacturer. What I don't understand is that surely a cover of a phone should last. Certainly not in this case... I am extremely disappointed and it is unlikely that I will ever buy a phone cover from them again.
