Takelot - Does not deliver all over !!

This was a big disappointment !!

I started by sending takealot an inquiry on whether they will be able to deliver a package to my mom and dad on their farm. The response was "we deliver all over" I tried to add the delivery address, but even the GPS co-ordinates was not sufficient. This was not an acceptable delivery address. I sent another email and one of the agents contacted me to instruct me to put in the address of a landmark nearby. I was able to add the landmark of a nature reserve opposite my dad's farm. I am unhappy, after all this they were still not able to deliver. They sent my dad a notification that his package will be delivered on Tuesday 26/05/2020. At the end of that day they sent a notification that delivery has been delayed and a new date will be communicated. Once more I sent an email, to which I got a reply that they will engage with the courier. Package was delivered to a friend in town. My dad had to drive almost half an hour to pick up his package. They did not even include the note I wrote to my dad. The final reply I got was; package was delivered successfully. Next email - "please rate the service" - which was not possible,

This request is now closed.

Unfortunately, that means the ticket can no longer be rated.

I really wanted to send regular packages to my dad, but it seems like takealot did not pass the test.
