Takelot arrogance

I purchased a bin, amongst other items, last month. It was delivered damaged, without any protective packaging, on a Saturday morning. I logged a return, immediately and returned it on the Monday.

Because it's an essential item I had to purchase another bin, but the laborious returns process had not been concluded. I had to pay a R70 delivery fee, because the new bin fell bellow the R500 threshold.

Then, to add insult to injury, the new bin was reduced in price by R60. Emails and complaints went unheeded, standard Takealot protocol. This who saga, during a busy time, during which we are also planning a wedding, was occasioned by the original bin that was delivered damaged.

What a waste of time, monolopies breed arrogance. I can't wait for Amazon to start trading in 2024.
