Takelot are *********.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the way Takealot have handled this situation.

I bought a TV about 2 and half years ago on Takealot, specifically because it came with a 48 month warrantee. Now they have destroyed the TV (which had no physical damage whatsoever, only a power failure) and refuse my claim saying I broke it.

To avoid such nonsensical response, I specifically took pictures of everything before your courier came to pick up the TV. Attached are the pictures that clearly show that there was no damage whatsoever on the physical structure of the TV when I shipped it. It was clearly dropped or thrown around by your staff and you now try to blame me for the damage.

I wrapped that TV in 3 layers of bubble wrap and taped the accessories, which included all original accessories (power cord, remote, feet and booklets) to the back of the TV to specifically protect the screen. I also told the couriers to take special care in handling and transporting it.

This is border line ******** behavior and I need this to be investigated. I'm very sure that the CCTV/ video footage of either the drop off by the courier or their staff handling the TV would show them causing the damage.

To blame the damage on me is *****.
