Takealot’s terrible service

I bought an Oxford relax sleeper couch in October 2020. Tears occurred along the stitching on the seat part of the couch. Poor workmanship is evident. I’ve sent the couch back as the 6 month guarantee is still in place. The couch was received at the warehouse and assessed. My request for a replacement vouch was declined due to “normal wear and tare”. This makes absolutely no sense. Secondly if I didn’t phone and enquire as to what is happening to my couch, I would not have had my (broken) couch back, which was delivered this morning, with no notification of it being delivered. I was at work and could not receive my couch. Truly disappointed in Takealot and would strongly discourage potential customers to make use of Takealot’s services.
