Takealot's service going down

I've used takealot many times before. Last week, I ordered chocolate and beer. 2 days ago, I get a delivery van to my home and the box with beer was missing. The delivery guys said he also has to take back the item he's got as that is the rule. I said well that's terrible as it contains chocolate, the risk fo it getting damaged in an un-couled vehicle is significant. I look at my order status and it says 'customer refused the item' !!! I also got an SMS saying we tried to deliver but couldn't. Today I get a phone call and I need to confirm my email address and the phone number the person just called me on. HOW RIDICULOUS IS ALL OF THIS AND MAJORLY UPSETTING to me. If Takealot doesnt get their house in order, I will think twice before using you again. The person I spoke to didn't even understand my complaint, despite his words 'I do understand' !!!!
