Takealot's fortune in a client's misfortune.

I gave takealot 1 star only due to the fact that -5 stars is not possible, not that this should came as a surprise seeing as when you search takealot on this website the first thing you see is bad reviews. I made a purchase from takealot on the 17th of January 2022 paid for shipping and the product on the same date, which was due to arrive on the 25th of January 2022, no surprise there was a delay. On the 7th of February the app told me my product had been delivered, however it was not delivered, I sent in a complaint and received a email from a chap named Austin who assured me that he would fix the problem, after 3 emails he confirmed that they still had the package and that was the end of it. 1 week later I sent another complaint about the same package which I still had no information on the delivery date, this time I had Monica send me an email assuring me that she would solve the problem, a fools pipe dream as another week has come and gone and alas still no package, so I sent them both an email which was ignored. I have since accepted that takealot has ****** the money and has no intention of writing their wrongs, to anyone still wondering about whether or not to order from this company, I suggest that you go literally anywhere else as I cannot imagine a worse service from an online shopping company that advertises professional service yet delivers nothing,but false promises.
