Takealots bad service and selling of '******' /blacklisted cellphones

I bought a phone from takealot about a year ago and the phone has now been blacklisted. Been contacting takealot for about a month now, with no luck. They have been unhelpful and uncooperative at all levels. And have now asked me to contact their supplier. How is it that a reputable and big company like takealot doesn't do proper screening of their suppliers and has the gall to sell such products? And even worse to not take any responsibility at all. I bought my phone on good faith from a company that I trusted only to be dealt with in this way. I am very wary as to where I buy my stuff, especially my devices. Very very disappointing service indeed. I am not the first person to complain about having acquired a blacklisted phone from takealot. DO NOT BUY CELLPHONES FROM TAKEALOT.
