Takealot's Abysmal Return Service & selling of previously damaged goods.

TAL provides a vast array of merchandise and good prices. Their collection services for returns, however, is abysmal. We have purchased a large number of items over the course of 4 years, and when we try to return items, usually because they are faulty or they've sent us someone else's returned item, there are generally issues. In the past week for example, there have been 3 attempted collections on a return, each one failing. We are a very easy location to find and the delivery teams have no trouble at all finding us. Returns for some reason are different. TAL uses 3rd rate, bottom of the barrel outfits for this, like Fast And Furious Couriers, who are arguably the worst, most *********** couriers in the industry! And so I have spent untold hours trying to get this return collected. It's not the 1st time either. So just beware of TAL's abysmal return service and their tendency to try to flob somebody else's damaged goods onto you! This wont stop me from using TAL, but might cause me to buy some items elsewhere.
