Takealotoftime

I desperately needed an item for my home offce for work and so I opted to use the express delivery option offered by Takealot. The next day delivery costed more than the item I was purchasing but because I needed it the following day (5th May), I paid it. After the order status informed me the afternoon of the 5th that it had arrived at the courier not far from me, I was sure it would arrive as scheduled. It didn't. An sms informed me the following day (now a day late) that it had been rescheduled. I had now paid R95 for an express delivery option that did not happen. As it was a vital component to my work, it arriving late has cost me money.

This is the my first experience using Takealot in Johannesburg and this would never have happened in Cape Town. Friends and family say that Takealot is not as dependable in Johannesburg as it is in Cape Town. What a pity. I will not rush to use them again. Takealotoftime. Takealotofmoney.
