TAKEALOT.COM: UNPROFESSIONAL & DISHONEST

Take a lot is holding my order hostage and no-one has attempted to contact me . I have tried by all means to get in touch with takealot.com on all platforms, phone, Facebook email, twitter to no avail. My package was said to have been delivered to the Bryanston station which is approx 5-10 mins drive from my house according to the app, yet they kept rescheduling delivery and claiming I would have my package by 7pm last night, I even paid the R120 to ensure delivery as their service says its a guaranteed same-day-delivery. My app says courier will re-schedule, but won't allow me to re-schedule. They promise to send an sms or call if anything should affect delivery, but they haven't because more than 24 hours later I have no ETA and they are unreachable. On top of that they are basically holding my money hostage. Do you not understand that these are desperate times for people and finance are hard to come by. The product I ordered is meant to assist me in earning income and I find it despicable that not a single representative from takealot.com has had the decency to make contact. How shameful that takealot.com is still advertising their platform without tending to present customers. Using this platform may be the only recourse I have. I could have used my money to purchase elsewhere but now that its tied up I have no option but to wait. So much for guaranteed same day delivery.
