takealot.com, thinkalot before

My first order on December 9, 2019 two internet routers one developed a problem and cannot connect to the internet. 18 days before before completing 12 months since date of purchase I asked to return and replace (hoping at least for an offer to repair or something) since it is a known FACT that electronic equipments have at least 12 month warranty; but NO! Here is the reply I received; “……We're sorry to hear that your recent Takealot purchase is defective. All the information you gave us and the details of our policy are included below for your records. Unfortunately, your Return Request falls outside of both our six months Returns Policy and the supplier's warranty period so we're unable to accept it. We have cancelled this Return Request, ……..” So if you order electronic equipment from takealot.com thinkalot before; YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!
