Takealot.com stole from me

On the 05th of July 2020 I ordered an item which came to a total of R255.00. I paid and advised will be delivered on the 07th of July 2020. Please bare in mind that this is an essential item and with COVID and lockdown I put my trust in this company. So on the 07th they failed to deliver and so the days went on. On the 10th I contacted them waiting a whole hour before I could speak to an agent, who advised me that my item had been ****** or lost and that they would refund me. I had paid the total of R255 including delivery and they only refunded me R175.00 and charged me R16.00 for a refund that was not my fault for it to happen. I am disappointed and shocked that I had to wait and after waiting still being ****** by such a big company. So I urge that anyone reading this review the poor and middle class person that Takealot.com will rob you of the little you have if I can honestly advise you try buying elsewhere.
